2011 was a great trading year and presented many opportunities to go long and short the stock market. SMF Pro Traders were taught about how stocks get marked up and market down throughout the trading year.

SINA was called a short by SMF Traders on 4/26/2011 after we put in a blow-off top at $140.38. At the end of 2011, SINA closed at $52 down 62.95% from the origanal short call. If you've been following SMF on YouTube you would have been able to catch the short around $135.
GOOG was called a long by SMF Traders at $480 and closed near the 52 week high of $646.76. a $166.76 move or 34.74% increase.
Whe called the S&P 500 top at the 52 week high of 1370.58 and warned investors and traders worldwide of an imminent stock market correction. Since the "Market Top" call on the S&P 500, the S&P 500 declined to the 52 week on on 8/8/2011 1,074.77 a decline of 295.81 points or 21.58%.
We alerted traders on how to identify "stock market bottom" trends and how they're established when we confirmed the S&P 500 2011 bottom on 8/11/11; the S&P 500 was trading at 1,172.64. From our call to the 2011 Year End print on the S&P 500 rose 84.96 points or 7.24% to close at 1,257.60.
